Is Your Tuna Sustainable?
Tuna is a pantry staple, rich in Omega-3s, proteins, and essential vitamins. But the growing demand for this nutritious fish has pushed many tuna species to unsustainable levels.
World Tuna Day, observed annually by the United Nations, aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable tuna fishing and the conservation efforts needed to protect tuna stocks for future generations. The FAO’s Common Oceans Tuna project is working towards ensuring all major tuna stocks are fished sustainably by 2027, making this an urgent cause.
Take action today and help ensure the future of tuna!
